Frédéric, French, 33 years old Fluent in French, Spanish, Japanese and English
Frédéric is responsible for all editorial aspects of the myTeacherinParis website.
Frédéric has over 10 years experience in international commercial activities. During his professional life, he had the opportunity to live in Japan, Usa, Lebanon and Hong Kong. He holds a degree in International trade and in Japanese language, which he can speak, read and understand fluently.
He started his professional life working for the French Ambassy in Tokyo, where he participated in the launch of the "French year in Japan in 1998".
Frédéric has always been interested in languages, either learning them, or teaching them. He started teaching French in 1998 while being in Japan. Then back to France, he kept on giving private lessons. So far he has worked with more than 50 students, from 10 different nationalty. This experience allows him very easily to adapt himself to foreign cultures.
His motivation with myTeacherinParis is to let you acquire french language as easily as possible, and contribute to the promotion of French language and culture.
Yannick, French, 31 years old Fluent in French, Spanish and English
Yannick is responsible for all technical aspects of the myTeacherinParis website, and defines the general strategy .
He has been in the high tech industry for the past 7 years, working particularly on web based projects. He is experienced in web projects management, B2C websites, corporate websites, intranets, collaborative platforms, etc.
He is currently Project Manager in a Pharmaceutical company, working on pan-european projects for its corporate company. He has previously worked in the Public Sector for the Conseil Régional d'Ile de France on the project lesmetiers.net. He began his carreer in a very small web-based company, Clicfamily.com.
He also likes sports (aikido, running) and mosaics. As a runner, Yannick is currently training for the 31st Paris Marathon, 15th April 2007. His objective is to run it in 3 hours and 15 minutes. You can follow his training on his "myMarathoninParis" blog. And if you practice aikido, why not offer a mosaics portrait of Morihei Ueshiba ? This is the perfect gift for your dojo or your sensei !
Marie-Paule, French, 61 years old Fluent in French
Marie is our specialist in French reading. She pays particular attention to clearly articulate words and phrases in French, so that the student can have a better understanding.
Marie was born in Vichy (Auvergne, France), the town famous for its spa and water activities, where she spent 10 years. She then lived for 10 years in the south of France, in the Limousin district. At the age of 20, she decided to move to Paris, where she has been living for over 40 years since.
Marie is particularly interested in cinema, cooking, photo and anything related to Parisian life. She knows nearly every restaurant, café, opera, theater, cinema, museum... or any other place-to-be-seen in Paris !
